Excepting Central London, by 1989 there were few conductreses chatting
to drivers in half-cabs.
By
the early Nineties even though Green Bus Services was still running three
old Leyland half-cabs it had embraced the Atlantean too bringing the double-decker
fleet to five. The third bus to wear fleet number 9 was this Alexander
bodied former South Yorkshire PTE example which was also on the Number
9 which worked between the home village of Landywood and Wolverhampton.
