When I went to my first boarding school on Wenlock Edge we used to take a Bedford coach like this one each week to the swimming baths in Shrewsbury, but I still have mixed feelings about them as the 'Premier Tours' example seemed to leak petrol fumes which always made me feel travel-sickness. However 'E.P.Down' of Mary Tavy near Tavistock thought highly enough of this coach with that same magnificent butterfly radiator grill to earmark it for preservation. The photo was taken in the early Eighties and as far as I know it is still there waiting!.
