In my opinion the most attractive post buses of the period were a batch of twenty-three Hess bodied buses delivered in 1977-8 whose design formed the prototype for the RH that followed. But I might be biased anyway as FBW were my favourite buses as a rule. However these were not quite what they seemed and were somewhat underpowered as they were equiped with small noisy Mercedes O401 engines so it's a good job I never rode on one. Most examples could be found at Meiringen and Thusis or as in this view of P23403 at unhurried Lugano where they would have been ideal.
