The centre of Berlin might once again function as one big throbbing metropolis but in the quieter suburbs of the old West like Wansee not a great deal has changed. Each lunchtime smartly dressed girls catch buses which still seem to mostly terminate this side of the former Wall like the Mercedes behind going to the once infamous iron Glenicker Bridge.
