Many believe Stafford is part of the Industrial West Midlands or the Potteries. In fact not only is it a reasonable distance from both the Black Country and Stoke on Trent it is surrounded by beautiful countryside including on it's edge a vast tract of woodland, plantation and heath called Cannock Chase. Here not only might one see wild deer there are also poisonous snakes so it's an advantage to be able to climb trees!
