Those of you who know the 'buses and girls' pictures of Robert Jowitt will probably imagine he is my big hero, but my favourite bus photographer is actually Tom Moore of Coventry. Although Tom prefers black and white and would probably have used a little bit of zoom too, I think he would also have liked to have photographed from this elevated location where he could capture everything that was going on. Even though this 1979 view of Charles Street has not changed greatly the Leicester City Transport and Midland Red buses certainly have.
