When Midland Red North took delivery in poppy-red of nine Duple Dominant bodied Tiger buses in 1984 it was a refreshing change after the legions of Leyland Nationals. 1701-3 went to Shrewsbury, 1704-6 to Stafford. 1707 to Wellington, 1708-9 to Tamworth.
