No.1723 pretending to be it's Midland Red ancestor at Pitcher Bank in Stafford.

The Drawline Group having aquired East Lancashire Coachbuilders of Blackburn and being tight on cash decided to create some new Tiger buses from redundant Green Line coaches like former Berkhof bodied 1723. Later under General Manager Chris Hilditch it was also decided to recreate the traditional pre-war image of the old Midland Red and as well as all-over-red buses some recieved the much lamemted red and black coach livery. Sadly the paint supplied was both the wrong hue and of poor quality and as the fleet grew shabby it was decided to revert back to MRN'sDrawline red and yellow colours.
