Routemaster Bus

Pictured in Victoria during the mid-Nineties it was quite an achievement to catch both a beautiful girl and a smart looking elderly RM in the same shot. By that time most of the earlier short Routemasters had been withdrawn but this thirty-five-year old bus dating from1960 had been freshly repainted and still sounded wonderful as it retained an AEC engine. In my opinion the re-engineered buses lost that magic music box of noises and were just ghosts of their former selves.
