Buses and schoolgirls together have a certain magic. Maybe seeing them brings back memories of packed rush hour buses, teenage crushes and the Sixties pop music of the Beatles, Stones and Kinks. The Hollies came from Manchester and their song Bus Stop was supposed to have been written about Newton Street nearby where later there was a clothes boutique of that name.
